5754 aluminium is a widely used 5000 series aluminum alloy in Europe and other regions for

enclosed trailers (cargo trailers, caravans, etc). It offers an excellent balance of strength, wel

-dability, and corrosion resistance, make it ideal for structural and non-structural trailer components.

Al-Mg alloy (2.6–3.6% Mg), non-heat-treatable (strengthened by cold working).

 

Corrosion resistance:


Superior to 6xxx series (no intergranular corrosion risk), ideal for humid/salty environments.

 

Weldability:


Excellent (MIG/TIG welding retains >90% strength).
