Product Description:

The pre-painted steel sheet in coil is a product obtained by subjecting a hot-dipped galvanized steel sheet to a surface chemical treatment (coating). This treated metal is used as a base material in different types which include cold-rolled steel, hot dipped galvanized steel, electro-galvanized steel and hot dipped galvalume steel.

The coating materials used for the product vary, ranging from polyester, silicon modified polyester, polyvinylidene fluoride, and high-durability polyester.

Features:

Prepainted steel sheet consists of a steel core, a metal coating, a primer, and a top coat. This Layered system provides a surface protection that is durable, resistant to corrosion, as well as aesthetically pleasing and highly formable.

The substrate that helps produce this impressive combination of qualities is made from either Galvanized or Galvalume (Aluzinc) metal. This layering system begins with surface pre-treatment, followed by the addition of a paint coating. After that, the sheet is put through baking and cooling, followed by the formation of an organic protective film on the steel substrate.

Thanks to this multi-layered construction, prepainted steel sheet can be formed into complex shapes through roll forming, bending, and deep drawer operations. It can even be subjected to cutting and other machining operations.
